Training and Experience

Dr Frances Perret graduated with Honours from Monash University in 1994 before being trained in Anaesthesia at Monash Medical Centre and its affiliated hospitals. She completed a combined fellowship at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and The Royal Children’s Hospital in 2004.

Since qualification in 2005, Dr Perret has worked as an Anaesthetist at Monash Medical Centre. She is currently the supervisor of the Anaesthetic Senior Resident Medical Officers and is actively involved in teaching for both junior and senior Anaesthetic Trainees. She works on a regular basis at the Monash Simulator Centre and is a reviewer of formal projects for The Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists. She combines this with a private practice at multiple private hospitals across Melbourne.
